A scheme of service specifies the followings:

I.       Job of Cadre or profession

II.      The minimum qualification or skills or competencies required to perform the jobs.

III.             The remunerations/salaries

IV.            Carrier Progression

In Nigeria competencies in Nursing Science are obtained either from school of the nursing (Hospital Based) or the University (University Based).

We want to adopt best practice in designing our scheme of service. Please let us know:

(a)             The minimum qualifications or skills or competencies required to practice comprehensive professional nursing,

(b)             The salaries/remuneration of professional nurses;
